Description

This 1961 TR4 is one of the nicest anywhere. The car received a nut and bolt frame off restoration over many years using the highest quality parts and quality craftsman. The cost of this restoration would easily exceed $80,000 so this is a great opportunity to leverage the time, money, and effort of the previous owner and purchase an exceptional car. The paint is fantastic, the panel fit is excellent, the interior is all new and very high quality and the frame and body are rust free and flawless. She runs and drives as she should with all gauges and functions working correctly. The wire wheels were blasted and powder coated and they run true on new tires.
In the 1950s, Triumph had secured a worldwide reputation for building sports cars, notably the classic TR2 and TR3 models. The first TR4 rolled out of the factory in Coventry on July 18, 1961. The Italian designer Michelotti was tasked with drawing up a more modern body design.
