Floor replacement on an E-Type or XKE isn't simply welding in new sheet metal. The floor assemblies form a critical part of the Jaguar's monocoque chassis, meaning every measurement, weld, and structural component must be precisely located before the car can ever drive the way it was intended.

That's why we've invested in equipment very few restoration shops possess. We build these chassis on a specialized alignment jig—one of only two such fixtures in the entire United States. This guarantees your Jaguar is reconstructed to absolute factory specifications, ensuring structural integrity that standard shops simply cannot replicate.

At the center of our fabrication department is a dedicated XKE floor assembly fixture weighing more than 20,000 pounds.

This specialized jig allows us to fabricate complete floor assemblies, accurately locate the front and rear monocoque sections, and rebuild the chassis exactly where Jaguar intended. Each floor assembly incorporates the four internal steel box sections hidden beneath the finished floor, restoring the strength and rigidity originally engineered into the car.

Before final welding, doors are installed and panel alignment is verified to ensure proper fit throughout the entire monocoque.

Only a handful of restoration shops have invested in the equipment necessary to perform factory-correct Jaguar floor replacement.
