Originally assembled in March 1960, this MG A was one of 12,253 Roadsters exported to the North American Market with the larger, more powerful 1588cc engine. IT'S ALIVE! acquired this MG A in the spring of 2023 from a local, long-term owner who maintained the A since December 1970! A non-running project when acquired, our in-house staff brought the MG back to life by cleaning the carburetors, servicing the ignition system, rebuilding the brakes with all new parts, and replacing the clutch hydraulics. The recipient of an older restoration, the MG A presents today as an honest, running driving example that with some cosmetic attention could be a real showstopper.
