IT'S ALIVE! AUTOMOTIVE is proud to offer this exceptionally original 1987 Porsche 924 S in Schwarz (Black) over a matching Black interior with optioned Porsche-script seats. This example was sold new by Parktown Porsche in St. Louis, Missouri in Summer 1986 and has not been offered on the open market since. The 924 S remained under the care of its original owners until September 2023 when it was acquired by IT'S ALIVE!

Upon further inspection, the 924 S revealed an incredible level of originality that is seldom seen in a 35+ year old vehicle. The dashboard is extremely well-preserved, displaying none of the common cracks. Trunk carpet is in pristine condition with the original foam backing still present. The original Vredestein “space saver” spare tire & wheel are still mounted in the storage area. The accompanying tool kit is excellent and the InterCompressor air pump does not appear to have ever been removed from its plastic case. The original pressure-cast alloy “phone dial” wheels presented with the typical discoloration from age while the Pirelli P6 tires were indeed original to when the car was new in 1986. IT'S ALIVE! opted to have the original wheels restored while a fresh set of Pirelli P6000 tires were mounted & balanced. The original Pirelli P6 tires are still on hand, should the next owner opt to display them.

Additional tasks performed by our in-house technicians included the replacement of the hood and trunk support struts, installation of a new DME relay and fuel filter in addition to replacing the rubber foam hood pad insulation. The odometer displays just over 34,600 miles, a number which is documented actual by the accompanying CarFax report. An outstanding amount of documentation on file includes the original warranty paperwork, service invoices, original books, Blaupunkt manual, the seldom seen original glove box keys, original window sticker and more. IT'S ALIVE! is extremely proud to offer this future classic for the first time since it was sold new in 1986.
